How can I write a prayer when I feel anxious?
A prayer can be brief and honest. Describe what feels difficult and ask for peace, courage, patience or guidance. You can write for yourself or for someone facing uncertainty, grief or a challenging decision.
Lord Jesus, calm my heart as I face [situation]. Help me take the next step with wisdom, receive support, and remember that I am not alone. Give me patience, courage and peace. Amen.
Why choose Gethsemane for a prayer for peace?
Gethsemane recalls Jesus' prayer before His arrest, a moment of sorrow and surrender described in Matthew 26:36-46. You can send your request to the Church of All Nations / Gethsemane, or choose the Garden Tomb for reflection on hope.
Can I pray for someone else's peace?
Yes. Include their name or initials and a short request for comfort and strength. Keep sensitive details private unless they are needed for your prayer. The prayer template collection offers wording you can personalize.
Does prayer delivery provide mental health treatment?
No. This is spiritual support, not treatment or a promise that anxiety will disappear. Continue seeking support from qualified professionals and people you trust when you need it.
